I’m a Cape Town–based creative working in the camera department, with a love for visual storytelling and life behind the lens. I’m especially passionate about wildlife filmmaking and have spent time working on documentaries across Central Africa, capturing stories in some incredible places. I also shoot a mix of fashion and brand work, bringing a cinematic eye and solid technical experience to every project. Whether it’s in the bush or on set, I’m all about creating strong, authentic visuals that feel alive.

I have worked in the creative industry for more than 15 years wearing many different hats: photographer, videographer, editor and for the past decade, producer.

My name is Chanel and I’m a Cape Town-based content creator specialising in behind-the-scenes and social-first content for brand campaigns and productions. With over 5 years of experience in content creation, I capture the authentic moments that happen on set and transform them into engaging short-form content for social media. My work helps brands maximise their shoot days by creating ready-to-share content that feels natural, engaging, and authentic.

Carissa Bosman– Stylist, Make-up Artist & Set Stylist Carissa Schikkerling is a professional stylist, make-up artist, and set stylist with over 12 years of experience working across fashion, editorial, commercial campaigns, and bridal. Known for her refined eye and calm professionalism on set, she brings together wardrobe styling, make-up artistry, and prop-based set styling to create cohesive and visually compelling productions. Her work spans print, digital, television, and stage, collaborating closely with photographers, creative teams, and brands to deliver polished, on-brand imagery. Carissa has worked with both international and South African brands, including Nespresso, Falke, Diarrablu, Poetry, Pick n Pay Clothing, Shoprite, Nedbank, H&M, Lira & Fynn, and Shelly Taylor Jewellery. Her work has also appeared in editorial publications such as Rooi Rose, Lig, and ASA Magazine. Whether styling a commercial campaign, curating props for a set, creating editorial looks, or doing bridal make-up, Carissa focuses on understanding each client’s vision and translating it into styling and visuals that feel authentic, confident, and impactful.

I’m a creative director and videographer focused on translating brand vision into cinematic visual storytelling. My work combines commercial filmmaking with strong creative direction, producing campaigns that feel both intentional and visually refined. Through my production company, Kompanje Films, I lead projects ranging from agile location shoots to larger commercial productions with full crews, controlled lighting environments, and multi-camera setups. The focus is always on delivering high-quality visuals while maximising output for clients. I’ve directed and produced work for brands including Pick n Pay Clothing, Dash & Blue, Tridenti Swimwear, Emily King Universe, and 334 Horse Stud, across fashion campaigns, branded storytelling, and commercial advertising. Technically, I work primarily within the Sony cinema ecosystem, shooting on the Sony FX3 and Sony Alpha 9 with professional Sony lenses. On set I direct both constant lighting setups and natural light environments, allowing me to move between studio productions and location-based shoots while maintaining a consistent cinematic standard.

Hi! Mike here. I’m a Cape Town–based photographer and videographer specialising in people-focused imagery. My work spans fashion, swimwear and lifestyle campaigns, model portfolios, brand campaigns and content, alongside selected weddings and events. I focus on creating clean, confident visuals that bring out natural energy and presence in front of the camera. I pride myself on being friendly and easy to work with, making models comfortable and clients at ease during shoots.

Passion. That’s the one word I use to describe my love for film and capturing concepts. Having edited videos part-time and full-time for over 15 years, I found myself in the hub of Cape Town, the undeniable epicenter of film production in South Africa. I get really pumped about a good drone shot, playing with light and contrasts, and combining events with storytelling in films.

Nina Zimolong is an internationally recognized photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa. Known for her work in fashion, commercial, and fine art photography, she creates powerful visual narratives that blend emotion, storytelling, and striking aesthetics. Her work often explores themes of identity, empowerment, and human connection through a distinctive visual style marked by refined composition and atmospheric imagery.  With a background in marketing, Zimolong brings a strategic perspective to her photography, translating brand messages into compelling imagery that resonates with global audiences. Her work has been featured in leading publications including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and she has collaborated with international brands such as MAC Cosmetics and Coca Cola.  Originally beginning her career in the corporate world in Berlin, Zimolong later returned to South Africa to pursue photography full time. Since then she has built an international portfolio spanning editorial, commercial campaigns, and fine art projects, establishing herself as one of South Africa’s prominent contemporary photographers. 

Hugo Brand is a Cape Town–based gaffer working primarily in commercials, music videos, and documentary productions. His work includes documentaries such as Chasing the Sun, Chasing the Sun 2, and Two Sides, as well as music videos for acclaimed South African bands including Spoegwolf and Die Heuwels Fantasties. He has also worked on commercial campaigns for brands like Pick n Pay and Takealot, focusing on practical, story-driven lighting that supports the cinematographer’s vision.

I am a multi-functional creative with most of my experience in the camera department but I work as an editor on my own productions and have serviced numerous projects as a one-man-band. I do however enjoy working in a team to elevate the quality of my work and I find great inspiration from other creatives.

I’m a Cape Town–based Director of Photography working across documentaries, commercials, and branded content. I occasionally direct documentary projects and have a strong passion for storytelling and the emotional connection that powerful imagery can create.

I’ve been involved with vehicles and anything motorised since the age of 10. Today I’m licensed to operate everything from motorcycles to trucks and boats — and occasionally a forklift when the job calls for it. My connection to the film and photography industry started during my student years around 2016. After spending time on sets and seeing first-hand the logistical challenges productions face, I eventually swapped my camera for a steering wheel when I recognised a gap in the standard and availability of reliable unit vehicles. Through Delta Vans (Pty) Ltd, I operate a fleet of panel vans tailored specifically to the needs of film, photography, and creative productions. My goal is to provide industry-specific vehicle solutions that support the workflow of the project and the creatives behind it. To me, a unit vehicle should be much more than a blank canvas panel van hauling gear. It should be a practical, thoughtfully designed tool that helps a production run smoothly.
